Creating Technical Drawings

: AutoCAD Drafters utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce precise 2D and 3D drawings based on specifications provided by engineers and architects.

Collaboration

: They work closely with engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback into their designs.

Modifying Plans

: Drafters are responsible for revising existing drawings to reflect changes in project specifications or to improve design accuracy.

Ensuring Compliance

: They must ensure that all drawings meet industry standards and regulations, maintaining quality and safety throughout the design process.

Documentation

: Preparing and maintaining technical documents related to the drawings, including specifications and project reports, is also a crucial part of their duties.

Site Visits

: Occasionally, AutoCAD Drafters may conduct site visits to gather information and ensure that designs are feasible and align with real-world conditions.
