Would you like to help publish innovative Scientific research Would you like to work with the leading submissions, editorial and peer-review platform in publishing About our Team Our Patterns Team is dedicated to the advancement of data science and its application in practice, policies and management. We publish a variety of article types to add a new-dimension to the communication and exchange of data research results. Our journal stretches the boundaries of the publishing process in order to communicate the latest and most impactful research. About the Role You will oversee the creation and publication of original content for our open access journal. You will take ownership for overseeing submissions and quality peer reviews to ensure we publish high-quality content.You will build global relationships with people and institutes in the scientific research community to identify authors, subject experts and content opportunities. Responsibilities Assessing submitted research papers to identify potential content for our publications. Overseeing the peer review process to verify the content and to make editorial recommendations . Writing editorials, commissioning reviews and commentaries and publishing correspondence to build our journal\'s profile among the communities we serve. Writing preview articles to introduce our readership to new scientific findings. Attending conferences and visiting academic institutes to develop and maintain links with the international scientific research community. Contributing to Cell Press growth and innovation projects by identifying exciting new topics and research Requirements PhD in Health and Medical Science discipline(s) An experimental, results-driven, and enthusiastic work attitude Record of having published papers in scientific journals Technology savvy, familiar with online platforms, social media and digital content Good communication skills and excellent written and spoken English Relationship builder and self-starter ability to build relationships both within the scientific community as well as within Elsevier on different levels within a large international environment Broad scientific interest and desire to serve and help customers in the scientific and clinical community: authors, editors and reviewers.
