Line of Service Assurance Industry/Sector FS X-Sector Specialism Assurance Management Level Senior Associate & Summary A career within Actuarial Services, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute general insurance advice and consulting services to clients such as insurers, banks, regulators, and third party administrators. You\'ll provide advice covering solvency, economic capital, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, company restructuring and risk control, financial modelling, underwriting, new legislation, and the efficiency of claims or reporting processes. Simply put, you might help analyse the impact that new regulation will have on an insurance company\'s balance sheet or you could be revising businesses\' projections and making sure they have adequate reserves. . Develop and maintain web applications using React . Collaborate with cross functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features . Write clean, efficient, and well documented code . Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality . Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise . Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering . Continuously improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of our applications . Work with product managers and designers to ensure that our applications meet the needs of our users . Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or related field . 3+ years of experience in software engineering . Strong proficiency in React . Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript . Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js or Ruby on Rails . Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail . Excellent communication and collaboration skills .
