: Manager/ Sr. Manager - Payroll & Compliance Position: Manager / Senior Manager- Payroll & Compliance Location: Mumbai, may include travel to South India Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: As a Senior Executive in payroll & Compliance at TVS ILP, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll management, familiarity with HR software such as ZingHR HRMS & Payroll and DarwinBox HRMS & Payroll, and extensive experience in handling payroll and compliance functions. Key Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Review and verify payroll data, including timesheets and fixed and variable components like bonuses or other relevant details. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other departments to gather necessary payroll inputs and resolve discrepancies on time. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and labor standards related to payroll and benefits across India. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare and submit payroll-related registers and another compliance register. \xe2\x80\xa2 Getting approval from Registers and disbursement of salaries to all employees on time. \xe2\x80\xa2 Compliance also includes tax filings, reconciliations, and audits as and when required. \xe2\x80\xa2 Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and compliance requirements and implement necessary adjustments to processes and procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies, procedures, and best practices in the organization. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries, deductions, and tax withholdings. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate with IT and software vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to payroll systems and software. \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct periodic audits of payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and external regulations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Generate ad-hoc reports and analysis as requested by management. Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\'s/ Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Indian payroll processing and compliance, preferably in Real Estate, Engineering, Logistics, manufacturing, or automotive industry. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency in using HR software such as ZingHR, DarwinBox, or similar payroll management systems is mandatory. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing. \xe2\x80\xa2 Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications is preferred. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment keeping accuracy in mind. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing issues. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels across organisation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Certification in Payroll Processing or related field (e.g., CPP, FPC) is a plus.
