Job description Roles and Responsibilities :- \xc2\xb7 Providing legal advice on general daily corporate legal matters, transaction structuring and preparation of documentation for business functions. \xc2\xb7 Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and settling legal and transactional documents, agreements, Notices & Replies. Maintain various statutory registers and file necessary forms/applications. \xc2\xb7 Provide assistance to Senior Management and the Board in formulating corporate legal compliance and regulatory policies. Developing effective relationship and engagement with internal stakeholders, clients, business associates and other function groups. \xc2\xb7 Liaise with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers, auditors and arranging requisite documents from various departments of the company. \xc2\xb7 Monitoring changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment, and taking appropriate action. \xc2\xb7 Maintain Cause List, Excellent in Excel, good communication skills, ability to understand various Case Laws, extract Circulars & Notifications from various Ministry websites. \xc2\xb7 Ensure legal and statutory compliance of the Company including matters relating to Companies Act, Industrial Laws, factories act, labour laws, and environment protection laws, Information Technology Act, Laws & Regulations in regard to Trade Mark, Patent & Copyright, FCO 1968 and Insecticide Act etc. \xc2\xb7 Handling litigation related issues including appearance before Court and any other legal matters.
