Roles and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for overall operation of the laboratory for testing of dairy and food products in line with standards and protocols.


The major responsibilities includes monitoring quality of products packed under Amul brand, coordinating with various manufacturing plants & departments for sample collection, testing, report generation & report delivery, maintaining the laboratory as per requirement of ISO 17025, taking initiatives and creative approach in the TQM activities and update technical competence.

The candidate will also responsible for maintaining documents as per the requirements of regulations and accreditation, regular reporting with comments on quality of product tested, ensuring corrective actions against non-confirming analysis, identifying & ensuring implementation of improvement areas for testing in laboratory.
Desired Candidate Profile
The candidate should be first class graduate & post graduate in Chemistry. The candidate having Ph.D. in chemistry will be preferred. The candidate should have relevant experience of 10-12 years in laboratory analysis of food and dairy products at senior level in reputed organisation. The candidate should have expertise in method development and validation on GCMSMS/LCMSMS and other chromatography equipment. The candidate should have sound knowledge of Organic food & Agri certifications, regulations and Quality requirements.


The candidate should have obtained training of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 with adequate knowledge of statistics tools of analytical techniques with clear concept of estimation of uncertainty measurement. Experience in commercial laboratory operation shall be added advantage.
