Description:
1. Sales Leadership & Planning
? Lead regional sales efforts and ensure achievement of monthly and annual volume
targets (in Kilo meters).
? Develop and execute sales strategies for target sectors such as power utilities,
transformer manufacturers, polymer processors, FMCG and industrial clients.
? Drive new business development, revive inactive accounts, and expand product
penetration in assigned territory.
2. Team Management
? Manage and mentor a team of Sales Managers and Senior Managers across multiple
locations within the zone.
? Monitor individual and team KPIs, provide regular feedback, and ensure performance
alignment with business goals.
? Facilitate training, market exposure, and technical understanding for the team.
3. Client & Market Engagement
? Maintain strong relationships with top institutional clients and key accounts.
? Represent the company at major industrial sites, client meetings, and industry forums.
? Lead high-value negotiations, long-term contracts, and service-level agreements.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
? Work closely with:
o Logistics for dispatch and tanker/barrel movement
o Accounts for billing, credit terms, and payment recovery
o Technical Team for addressing product/application-specific concerns
o HO Pricing Team for quote approvals
5. Reporting & Strategy
? Submit detailed monthly sales MIS, forecasts, competitor tracking, and business
improvement plans.
? Analyze market trends, pricing strategies, and identify volume growth opportunities.
? Support top management in budgeting, planning, and zone-level decision-making.
C. Key Skills
? Proven leadership in managing multi-location sales teams and industrial clients
? Strong understanding of bulk sales (barrels/tankers), pricing, and credit management
? Excellent communication, client relationship, and negotiation skills
? Solid commercial and technical understanding of industrial oils or lubricants
? Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with basic ERP/SAP systems is preferred
