Job Description

This role requires a skilled professional in accounting and finance with expertise in technical accounting in equity and tax domain. The ideal candidate will contribute to the financial integrity of a SaaS company by ensuring accurate reporting, accounting and compliance.

• Handle tax and equity related technical accounting, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Ensure accurate accounting and financial reporting for all equity-related transactions in accordance with ASC 718.
• Conduct research activities on tax issues and have informed discussion with the tax consultant and advice the internal teams.
• Prepare and advise on technical accounting standards, drafting of memos and policies.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline financial processes.
• Analyse financial data to provide actionable insights for strategic decisions.
• Oversee audits and liaise with auditors to ensure smooth completion.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Support the Accounting & Finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities.

A successful Assistant Financial Controller in Equity & Tax professional should have:

• CA / CPA with 8-15 years of experience in Tax and Equity account.
• Proficiency in technical accounting, financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (ASC 718, 842 etc)
• Experience in the software sector or a similar domain.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
