The Role Responsibilities Job Summary The main purpose of this role will be to perform PVA stress testing for the XVA, Rates, FX and Credit portfolios Develop deep understanding of the valuation control processes supporting the XVA, Rates, FX and Credit portfolios, including IPV, fair value adjustments, and prudent value adjustments. Work with the VC-Methodology team to develop approaches to estimate stressed uncertainty levels around key market valuation inputs to the portfolios mentioned above. Support the BAU valuation control process for XVA, a key component of stressed PVA. Assume responsibility for the support and development of all related working files. Ensure that all stress testing documentation is kept up to date. Pro-actively improve and automate the current process. Perform any ad hoc requests by management. People Responsibilities Monitoring people performance, providing timely feedback, performing annual and mid-year appraisals. (including people development, pipeline / skills monitoring, and training programs). Leverage upon knowledge and skills sitting with other teams at same location or similar team sitting across the globe. Maintaining a pleasant workplace environment which is motivating and enables high performance within team. Enable movement of people as and when required to manage resourcing across Product Control. Minimise dependency on key people by cross training and succession planning. Manage leaves and attrition, create enough backup / cross trainings. Manage career and growth expectations of people. Our Ideal Candidate Educated to degree level preferably with a Finance / Business OR Financial Engineering background or Masters degree in a quantitative subject with minimum 8 years of professional experience in a financial service industry. Strong interpersonal communication skills to build an effective internal network across the numerous stakeholders. Strong Control mindset. Strong Product knowledge at across the core business products. Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and negotiating skills. Strong quantitative analytical skills and understanding of financial products.
