About the department

The Commercial & Corporate Affairs - Global Business Services (GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations. In the Diabetes GLP-1 area, we are a passionate team helping millions of people with diabetes achieve better health outcomes through innovative medicines and solutions. We drive and execute projects across a strong portfolio comprising of both launch and life-cycle management brands.

The Position

The primary role of this position is to work and ensure the future success of Icodec by initiating, shaping and leading business critical projects primarily related to digital MCE strategy and tactics, development of tactical brand plan, lead Icodec on congress hub as well as support brand projects, mostly related to digital. The owner of position should also set direction, develop skills set, coach, and guide the global Marketing team within Digital and MCE.

A summary of key responsibilities:

  • Planning and execution of the Multichannel Engagement (MCE) strategy for the brand.
  • Tactical implementation aligned with global strategy and Internal communication to HQ functions, regions, and affiliates.
  • Update and certification of promotional/communication material and approval hereof.
  • Showcase Icodec (new product) effectively in congress/conference and Support maintenance of the Veeva portal.
  • Project management and cross-functional cooperation and Internal and external stakeholder management.
Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in Pharma (B. Pharm), Science/Biotechnology (B. Sc), Engineering (B. Tech).
  • Master\'s Degree (preferably within Marketing) from a well-recognized institute.
  • Fluency in written and oral English.
  • 7+ years of overall experience preferably in the Pharmaceutical Marketing/Medical Affairs/Sales/Brand Management/Project Management, with at least 3+ years of experience in Product/brand marketing /management.
  • Experience within chronic disease therapy area is preferred.
  • Experience in brand strategy & tactical plan development and implementation.
  • Strong experience in planning & execution of the Multichannel Engagement (MCE) strategy.
  • Cycle material development and their application to maximise brand performance.
  • Strong collaboration with brand teams, affiliate teams and other internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex topics into simple and efficient communications and develop storylines for presentations etc.
  • Strong content writing skills.
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with demonstrated experience in analysing complex datasets, collecting data, effectively synthesizing the analytics/data to form a complete, cohesive picture.
  • Technical skills: MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Word is a must.
  • This job is in Bangalore, India. International travel might be required for 15 days a year.
