Global Markets Credit 'GMC' is a team within Enterprise Credit and is responsible for ensuring a robust and consistent credit underwriting process for Global Markets lending and trading counterparty credit activities. GMC partners directly with Global Markets front office teams in relation to client selection, structuring and underwriting activities to drive revenue growth while maintaining appropriate risk discipline. GMC also coordinates engagement with key control partners including Global Risk, Legal / Documentation, Onboarding teams, Collateral management, Credit Review and Audit in accordance with the Risk Framework and Internal and External standards. GBS Team will support the GMC Wholesale Credit Administration (WCA) team on the NAV capture process and on the Underwriting related activities. The prospective associates need to work with the LOB partners based in the US, EMEA and APAC regions. Associates will also be required to design and develop various reports for the business pertaining to these tasks. The team will be part of the KSC - Wholesale Credit Management group. Selected candidates will also be required to collaborate with associates in the larger group to derive synergies on business deliverables. . The prospective candidate should have proven experience in leading a team. The candidate should also have a strong knowledge of various Financial Instruments and great attention to detail. The associate should have the ability to synthe information from various types of credit related agreements to verify the source of truth. The job requires the candidate to liase with the Line of Business frequently to understand their evolving business needs/ to seek clarifications on the deliverables. The candidate should also be able to articulate the requirements to the team members. The job requires associates to be proficient in various reporting tools like VBA, MS-Excel, MS - PowerPoint to produce process related reports to the business. Responsibilities. Function as a Product Oriented Delivery (POD) Leader for the KSC - Wholesale Credit Data Research teams in Mumbai/ Hyderabad Steer the team to assist Wholesale Credit Admin teams globally in managing their portfolios Lead the team to partner with Sr. Credit Officers in analyzing and completing the due diligence on a Global portfolio of Regulated & Hedge Funds Update NAV and performance data in the bank's internal systems of records as per the required frequency Follow up with clients to chase non receipt of NAV or performance data as required Remediate any NAV trigger breaches resulting from data quality or other issues, which may require a revised NAV or performance data to be input Investigate and respond to queries from Credit Officers and other Business Partners Partner with the LOB on a range of activities starting from Onboarding to Underwriting and Ongoing Risk Management of high revenue generating Regulated Fund clients Prepare comprehensive Client Analysis documents through a detailed application/understanding of Investment strategies, Liquidity, Leverage, and Volatility Perform qualitative and quantitative credit assessment of clients and their trading exposure including stress and sensitivity analysis Engage with Sales & Trading executives, Agreements & Documentation (A&D) partners, Collateral Management & Operations, Prime Brokerage Risk, Enterprise, and Market Risk Management regularly Propose risk-based limits based on assigned internal counter- party rating Identify and escalate limit overages, manage NAV trigger breaches, ad-hoc report management and escalating any counterparties/issues of concern as necessary Report and resolve Data Quality issues Produce regular and ad hoc business reports Coordinate with technology and other support teams as and when required Explore and identify opportunities to bring in process efficiencies Anchor new migrations and train the team on the existing/emerging deliverables Requirements . Education . MBA degree/PGDBM from reputed institutes. Experience Range . 11+ years of experience as a team lead Foundational skills . Ability to synthe information from various Financial documents Institutional Banking or Credit Rating Agency Experience with front -to-back Credit Risk knowledge in Regulated or Hedge Fund Domains Proficiency in reporting software like MS - Excel and MS - PowerPoint Ability to independently host calls and lead discussions with senior executives and stakeholders to arrive at business solutions Excellent team - orientation & strong work ethic Excellent communication skills and flexibility to work in different shifts to manage surge in deal flows Desired Skills Good understanding of Global Markets and Derivative Products/Documentation Ability to quickly absorb and follow Credit Policies & Procedures Work Timings . 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM & 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM - Shift timings are subjective to change depending upon the business requirements. Associates should be flexible enough to work in the revised shifts. The Process does not have any Night Shifts. The team currently does not work on weekends. However, the prospective candidates, should be flexible to work on the weekends to meet any pressing requirements from the Business. Job Location . Mumbai
