He/she will have experience in brand building and/or new category marketing and an understanding of consumers' triggers and barriers to purchase. As a marketing leader, they will drive key elements of our marketing (eg. site content, events, social, PR) and partner with various central teams to create and drive the marketing strategy and plans on and off the marketplace. They will create and support programs to ensure flawless execution of high impact marketing campaigns. This would include working with Brands, Vendors, and partnering with the Traffic team to develop an integrated marketing approach across channels (Direct, Free Search, Paid Search, Affiliate Marketing, Display Advertising, Online Video and Mobile)
Key job responsibilities
  • Own all key traffic drivers for the category, and work as a category advocate with central traffic teams
  • Own creation of marketing programs, and multiple key traffic drivers, to acquire new customers.
  • Conceptualize, design and execute online and offline marketing initiatives to extend awareness of our products on and off Amazon
  • Develop, test, and execute aggressive multi-channel marketing plans to drive customer acquisition and authority
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to determine program effectiveness and continuously improve efficiency to maintain optimum RoI
  • Understand and use merchandising and customer-facing metrics to guide decision making.
  • Meet business goals while ensuring a top-notch customer experience
  • Own projects with considerable scope and/or complexity with significant impact on customer experience and Amazon's business
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate data-driven decisions that lead to results
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects
  • Adept at diving several layers deep to identify root causes and problem-solving for them
  • Work on resolving a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways
  • BA/BS/B Tech, MBA
