What You Will Achieve

Working with a dynamic team of procurement experts, you will responsible for company real estate, facility management and operations globally, as well as procurement activities and systems that support business and operations in compliance with company policies. You will manage operational activities ranging from lifecycle management of buildings to recommending future office space utilization strategies. You will support procurement activities in the areas of category management, purchasing of goods and services, working with internal customers to define contract terms, management of procure-to-pay systems, driving best practices etc.

As a Senior Associate, your knowledge and skills will contribute towards the goals and objectives of the team. Your focus and ability to meet team targets will help in completing critical deliverables. Your innovative use of communication tools and techniques will facilitate in explaining difficult issues and establishing consensus between teams.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Manage and develop supplier relationships across assigned categories and ensure appropriate risk management is undertaken
  • Hands on experience in procurement of API, Excipients & Packaging materials in Sterile injectables.
  • Coordination with internal customers to ensure timely execution of the assigned responsibilities
  • Identify ways of improving the Procurement processes, tools, policies and procedures to drive efficiency and proactive engagement in opportunities.
  • Support complex local souring initiatives.
  • Follow the performance of the main suppliers, in relationship with the Internal customers.
  • Ensure that all supply channels are conforming to quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with quality control team to ensure that materials available in stock are conforming for future use.
  • Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance in purchasing.
  • Ensure compliance, review deviations, identify corrective action, Change Control, Procedures, and necessary training.
  • Maintain documentation and standard operating procedure (SOP).
  • Motivate and develop self and others to drive the business forward.
Qualifications

Must-Have
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 to 8 years of demonstrated experience working in a high volume, complex, regulated manufacturing site
  • Excellent understanding of the end to end procurement process, including experience of Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
  • Understanding of pharma commercial business
  • Knowledge of site operational activities, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, as well as a high energy level and ability to take initiative
  • Strong business systems knowledge and experience working with cross functional teams
Nice-to-Have
  • Master's degree
  • Relevant pharmaceutical experience
  • Cross-site, cross-functional project skills and experience
