Job Description


Qualification: Bachelor or Masters in Computers, Engineering, Statistics, Health Informatics, Life Science, Mathematics, Economics, Econometrics Skillsets: - At least 8 years of professional experience in quantitative data analysis - At least 2 year of experience in leading team in quantitative data analysis - Experience in working with real-world data, biomarker data, PK/PD data, analysis of health insurance claims, pharmaco-epidemiology research etc. - Programming skills: Base SAS, SAS Procedures, SAS Macros, SAS Graphs, SQL - Extensive experience in creation of different types of graphs used for presenting specialty data. - Knowledge of other statistical analysis programming language like R, Python will be an added advantage - Familiar with handling Big Data, non-standard/new data, complex data etc. - Good knowledge and understanding of Machine Learning methods and apply to business questions - Strong analytic mindset and logical thinking capability - Good knowledge of the higher statistical and econometric methods in theory and practice - Good knowledge on most frequently utilized real-world study designs: Retrospective analyses, Manual chart review, Prospective observational studies and registries, Pragmatic clinical trials, Economic modeling, Epidemiology study etc. Responsibilities: - Lead a team of programmers in advanced analytical team who work in the area of specialty data - Plan, execute and oversee all activities for assigned projects, including but not limited to, resource estimation, working within budget, meeting timelines, maximizing quality, interaction with other departments and the client, etc - Working with technology team of programmers to support machine learning algorithms in Big data platforms - Application of machine learning techniques in health care to identify complex patterns - Support in concept design and development of innovative techniques in analysis of specialty data - Contribute to writing/review of study proposals including statistical section, SAP, analysis results report etc. - Support study teams and directly contribute in the delivery of complex statistical programming deliverables related to specialty data like, PK/PD data, Biomarker, real world data. - Coach team members on programming and statistical methods applied to specialty data - Identify variables and records to extract from large healthcare databases (like electronic media record (EMR), insurance claims database etc.) as well as diverse collection of data files in terms of the type, data format and depending on the platform used to generate the data - Develop programming specifications for conducting the analysis using requirement details and source data. - Develop/validate analysis datasets. - Develop graphs and tables primarily for exploratory investigations with analysis requirements that may change throughout the life of the project. - Demonstrate consulting, critical thinking, creativity, project planning, time management capabilities Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer: As an EOE/AA employer, Labcorp strives for diversity and inclusion in the workforce and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind.
