Job Description


The Role Responsibilities Job Role UAT test manager for retail banking programme. Strategy Review Business requirement / System Functional specifications, and user stories - using the same create test scenarios and scripts. Able to identify risk / impact on each business scenarios. Ensure to update Volume MIS on daily basis. Ensure to keep the status update to unit manager on regular basis. Escalate issue as and when it occurs. Able to identify opportunities to automate repetitive logic based manual activities. To Support in getting Agreement for test coverage with the Business Stream Leads and create scripts that are consistent with the same. To Support in the execution of test scripts and management of the testing process, appropriate resolution of all errors. Ensure sign off on all residual items, if any with appropriate and well judged impact assessment, by the Service and Operations Value Centres. To Support in Managing / Plan the business end to support the DRH, Cut over and Post implementation Support. Perform independent activities concurrently. Should be able to check the profile level restriction (maker / Checker) while executing the test cases. Exception noticed as part of result verification should be recorded in the defect tracking tool. Give inputs from ground level after understanding the big picture. Should have end to end understanding of the process so that testing is covered for BAU purpose. Should be able to identify activities which are duplicated and suggest methods to improve the TAT. Supports and involves in change management plans in achieving mutual objectives to manage change. As and when there are change initiatives driven by Country / Regulatory Authorities, should be able to plan the activities very well and deliver the required output. Open to suggestions and experimentation. Suggestions to be provided and process to be analysed effectively for opportunities of automation. Should be willing to experiment by capitalizing on the UAT environments available for various projects to check the process improvements by simulating the BAU process. Should be willing to experiment effectively which would bring in reduction of TAT for customer, process efficiency, cost saving or increase in revenue without any disruption to BAU activities. Business To have a sense of urgency in meeting deliverables on time and Accuracy. To always have customer requirements in mind while executing any changes / updates. To appreciate the requirement of delivering accurate output every time. Good knowledge in Computer system and MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Excellent typing skills and experience in the banking operations field. In the event of serious regulatory breaches, or where risk tolerances have been breached, ensure senior management are informed and that actions are taken quickly to remediate and / or activities are ceased.
