Strategy Supporting Strategy Implementation Business Resolve queries from country APU within 24hrs. Hold rapport calls with country APU team. Resolve any complaints from stakeholders in respect to my assigned countries. Processes Check invoices for assigned countries (FX and LCY) ensuring there are no overdue items in the queues. Run the payment cycles daily Ensuring smooth running of all activities in respect to process, People, stakeholder and controls as per R2P strategy. Ensuring that a continuous process and efficiency improvement culture is embedded within the function and an established process exists to constantly identify and implement improvement opportunities. Monitoring to ensure that the standards of customer service provided by the function consistently meet or exceed the requirements set under the Service Level Agreements agreed with the customers. Drive process standardization and best practice sharing across all teams in R2P. Drive modular thinking around processes that runs on process-based organization. Effectively handle change management in R2P post migration of new processes (from design to delivery). Manage and escalate risks arising out of transition of new processes. Support the head R2P where necessary. People and Talent Conduct training and knowledge transfer to my colleagues and country APU staff Working with the other Shared Service Center function managers to ensure proper running of the center and support for the Head, R2P in ensuring a high level of support and service for the countries/businesses served. Work with Head, R2P for recruitment, right skilling, compensation survey and attrition management for the unit. Ensure the right talent is attracted and retained for all key roles Work with Finance teams globally to promote talent moves (both ways) between R2P & Countries / Businesses. Look for ways and means for continuously promoting forums for employee engagements. Encourage colleagues on their creativity, learning & development and bring some fun at work. Risk Management Ensure 100% accuracy in processing. Ensuring that an effective system of financial and operational controls is in place and is working as intended. Ensure robust KRI/KCS controls and checks are in place to manage operational risks in AO. Ensure the major activities and processes are well documented and that a robust BCP plan is in place. Facilitate tests on periodic basis and provide adequate support to the Department Continuity Co-ordinator. Participate and support in all Global GFS initiatives as launched from time to time (viz., Controls, Reengineering, Training etc.,) Keep up pace with fast evolving industry and ensure that unit has an edge over others in terms of people & processes. Conduct periodic tests of key controls in accordance with the operational risk policy framework. Ensuring compliance of regulations, policies and requirements of the hubbed countries. Contributing to the effectiveness of the team by utilising interpersonal skills to work with members effectively and to communicate across teams in GFS in order to ensure smooth operations for the Centre. Continually reviewing all assigned processes in order to identify opportunities for quality and process design improvement. Ensuring total customer satisfaction by providing quality service, that is error free, submitted in a timely manner and communicated effectively. To perform the activities as defined when performing the role of Backup during the absence of Primary responsibility holder of the activity. To achieve 100% back-up and leave plan.
