Accountable for completing various activities related to Account opening/closing and associated process
Responsible to own end to end relationship for respective products and stakeholders
Accountable for numerous Control & Reconciliation processes to ensure the internal team & database integrity.
Collation and production of Governance & Management Information Reports for the submission into various forums, covering:
Core activities of Sourcing, Appointment, Oversight & Exit of relationships
NAMS account opening/closing case management,
ORF performance
Maintenance of NM Published Information and data, on various team SharePoint sites, internal Bridge sites, by keeping published information up-to-date and relevant
Expected to work closely with regional Network Managers and stakeholders across the world
Have sound understanding of Network Management lifecycle and various products like Correspondent Banking, Cash partnership, Custody etc
Ideal candidate will be strong on Data Management, potentially including design of a coherent NM data model and improve on the current NM governance & control documents and mechanisms to ensure consistency of design, representation, and publication
Branding of the NM function by ensuring the necessary professional standard applicable to published documents, consistency of website appearance, layout, content
Accountable for sourcing Plan maintenance and progress updates \xe2\x80\x93 to ensure all appointment requests are managed according to Network Management Framework (NMF)
Accountable documentation Log maintenance (control point to ensure that all appointments are concluded with required documentation sourced, stored, and recorded)
PDD maintenance and scheduling updates \xe2\x80\x93 to ensure all appointed agents are correctly reflected on the PDD list, with Rating assigned and DD frequency and dates agreed
Management Information Reporting on team progress on deliverables across: Appointments, Due Diligence, Rationalization Plan, NAMS cases per NM (and GBS)
NM Data governance: design of data model, improvement of data management, structure, representation and publication
Actively look for opportunities to standardize processes / automate / eliminate nonvalue added activities and implement them for process improvements
Perform end-to-end analysis of processes and controls and propose solutions for addressing gaps, from a NM perspective
Follow up on risks with both internal teams and external stakeholders for timely closure without becoming overdue and promptly update actions to risk teams ahead of target timelines
Strategy
This Network Management role is responsible for establishing, executing (and accurately reflecting in the required control documents e.g., sourcing plan, provider list, rationalization plan) through which to plan and manage the function\xe2\x80\x99s strategic objectives.
Business
Network Management is a group function, with the role residing in the region of providers and where the Network Manager represents Standard Chartered Bank group\xe2\x80\x99s interests for the respective affiliate relationships that have appointed their respective provider(s). Through a series of Service Level Memorandums, the scope of coverage extends to include all businesses of the bank, as it relates to the selection, appointment and oversight of custodian, correspondent banking, cash management arrangements and the related data management steps to reflect these actions in the various NM control documents/systems.

Management of Documentation Log, with the aim of establishing suitable register and process for storage of all related provider documentation.
Participation in physical storage annual reconciliation and remediation of associated documentation.

Sound operational knowledge of related banking processes as it relates to the appointment of respective providers is pivotal in ensuring that arrangements are suitable and that the bank is not exposing itself to any undue risk.

Risk Management
Network Management is responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling, and mitigating risks on behalf of the Group as it relates to the appointed provider(s). It requires an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group:

Process Ownership of the Network Management process residing in the Digitisation and Client Access Process Universe as per The Operational Risk Framework
Actively assess risks and potential failure points in the processes handled and help highlight the areas to line managers and risk teams
Governance
It is imperative that all members of the Network Management function thoroughly understand the Network Management Framework and abide by the policies that are listed as relevant within that document. Notwithstanding, each is to ensure they comply with all relevant policies of the bank.
NMs are to be aware of, and adhere to and update as required, the following NM governance documents: Sourcing Plan, PDD List and Heatmap, Rationalisation Plan, Documentation Log and the Nostro Account Management System (NAMS),

Our Ideal Candidate
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 7 years of total work experience in Banking Industry and exposure to Network management lifecycle, product management, risk, and stakeholder management
Strong written and verbal communication skills required, comfortable in presentation.
Strong Analytical, process flow and operational mapping expertise
Self -motivated, takes ownership and pride in producing work of the highest caliber.
Team player with a flexible attitude and dynamic/adaptive approach
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priority.
