About the department

Digital, Data & IT India is a team of 900+ highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore. The main role of DD&IT India is to \'manage\' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management. Commercial IT department is an integral part of DD&IT India and is responsible for delivering projects and managing systems for Sales, Marketing, Medical & Market Access teams. In DD&IT, we drive projects, manage critical IT systems, services and infrastructure used along the entire value chain of Novo Nordisk.

The Position

As an Associate manager - MCE (Multi-Channel Engagement), you will be part of Customer Engagement Technologies and work closely with the Senior Manager for IO GoCART (Customer Engagement Agile Release Train) for the strategic direction for the area. Your primarily responsibility shall be:

  • Attraction, onboarding and hiring, taking care of people/career development via coaching and mentoring, reward and performance management and facilitating cross-organisational knowledge sharing.
  • Help build Agile, personal, and professional competencies in cooperation with other Managers/People Leaders ensure the execution of the people side of the IT strategy. Help identify individual and team training needs, build training plans for individuals and Agile teams, build and maintain domain knowledge.
  • People/career development, help individuals build their long-term career plan (Individual Development Plan), ensure vertical / horizontal progression possibilities and provide variety in job offerings, facilitate mentoring/buddy scheme, succession planning and collect performance feedback from stakeholders.
  • Coach and mentor employees on how to build and apply competences. motivate, inspire and support others - taking care of people. Reward and performance management and evaluate performance of direct reports and provide feedback.
  • Own FTE related budget e.g. salary and training, keep people cost updated and facilitate cross-organisational knowledge sharing. Support transformation initiatives. Manage the external consultants including contracts, budget and invoice.Work closely with ART Product Owners and Leadership to execute vision and strategy.
Qualifications
  • Master\'s degree or bachelor\'s M.Sc. or equivalent in relevant field e.g. HR and Computer Science.
  • Certified SAFe Agilist. Advanced knowledge on SAFe/Agile principles and mindset is preferred.
  • 3+ years leadership experience from similar job. Certification in change management and coaching.
  • Leads employees operating within one or a few domains within one geography. Develops talent within one or a few domains. Supports implementation of strategic long-term cross-organisational people related initiatives e.g. on mental wellbeing or critical competency development.
  • Seek to understand the thoughts and feelings of self and others, manage self and stay calm even under pressure. Display an inclusive mindset and respect the diversity in others.
  • Build teams and ensure a healthy, engaging, and inclusive work environment. Recognise and motivate teams for high performance.
  • Accelerate development by actively coaching and providing feedback, ensure ongoing dialogue about opportunities to foster growth, provide challenging opportunities to foster growth, identify and develop diverse talents and successors.
  • Experience with IQVIA OCE CRM/OCE Digital or any Salesforce Pharma CRM (good to have).
  • Experience managing Pharma commercial IT systems (good to have).
