Job Description

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Job purpose - Responsible for complex Global master data management processes (e.g. cross-divisional set-ups etc.) focused to ensure accurate and timely preparation and maintenance of master data in the SAP ERP system,
  • In accordance of Supply chain operational activities in compliance with the GxP & Regulatory requirements, internal regulations (e.g. Novartis Quality Manual), Good Practices, and business objectives.
  • Set up and perform complex local & global master data set up & establish process, guidelines, business matrix and SLA time lines in in GxP environment in alignment to Novartis compliance.
  • Be Domain Expert in the assigned area of work performing process streamlining, simplification & harmonization by initiating and leading continuous improvement projects to achieve operational excellence.
  • Hands on experience in various SAP transactions, and ability to read & interpret MM, PIR, SL, BOM, Recipe, Production Version, MRP, CMA, PO, SO etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of Business, System Landscape & Processes, with experience in Data Stewardship & Ownership and Understanding of Product and lifecycle events. Hands on experience in working on various Product supply network and understanding of impact of Master data on product lifecycle stages.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, HSE (including record management) and Participate and finish the mandatory trainings assigned, effectively take proactive action for improvements on Customer satisfaction, Glint survey and other feedback mechanism.
Minimum requirements

What you'll bring to the role:
  • Focus on developing functional understanding in Supply Chain, Data Quality and other domains and Accurate maintenance and Governance of Master data with respect to agreed KPI's & SLA's
  • Continuously check the consistency and completeness of master data with data quality and cleansing the database and Provide technical expertise in the area of responsibility to advice on standard processes.
  • Define the areas for improvement in the field of processes, tools and rules related to global master data, and provide appropriate support with their implementation.
  • Provide training in support to the contact persons of specific functions and subject matter experts by area / site with regard to the process of providing reconciled master data.
  • Initiate and lead continuous improvement projects to achieve operational excellence and enhance quality & productivity.
Desirable:
  • University degree in Graduate / Postgraduate in Pharmacy / Life Sciences / Engineering / Commerce / Economics.
  • Minimum 8 years of overall experience in Master Data Operations in Supply chain Management is preferred. User experience of Change Control system (e.g. SAP) as well as experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry are an advantage.
