Associate Manager Finance – Controllership Location: Bangalore Our Team We as finance organization in the Company are responsible for accounting, budgeting, planning, forecasting and reporting the results. We are at the helm of all crucial information, be it customer insights or business intelligence. We enable technology functions to continue to build and deliver solution which helps in overall success of Walmart’s eCommerce and Stores businesses. Your Opportunity As a part of the Finance team that works on Business Critical Decisions through various accounting and FP&A. You will be at the helm of extremely sensitive data which is the cornerstone to enable business and various stakeholders in India and US make various decisions. You will be part of great Finance professionals to leverage various Finance practices and drive decisions to closure. Your Responsibility

  • You would be responsible for overall fixed asset accounting process.
  • You will have the responsibility of regular capitalization of assets, maintaining Fixed Asset Register, deletion of assets, maintaining UGAAP and IGAAP Fixed Asset Registers.
  • You will have the responsibility of lease accounting as per Ind AS 116.
  • You will have the responsibility of physical asset verification in coordination with respective stakeholders and taking necessary actions on a regular basis.
  • You would help timely period-close, performs robust pre-close reviews to avoid surprises, actively co-ordinates with the teams during period close.
  • You would prepare timely account reconciliations. You would reconcile GL accounts, identify the issues & investigate the discrepancies.
  • You will have the responsibility of supporting multiple audits (internal and external) i.e. Statutory audit, Tax audit, IFC audit, Internal audit including preparation of financials based on new accounting standards (Ind AS)
  • You will have the responsibility of the driving projects/initiatives.

Your Qualifications
  • You should be a CA/CA-Inter with 4 - 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Having knowledge of US GAAP and Ind AS will be added advantage.
  • You possess thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • You possess excellent knowledge of MS Excel functions.
  • You should have proficiency in working with SAP ERP Systems.
