The Role Responsibilities Job Role Liquidity, FTP and IRRBB GPO function is a 150+ strong Centre of Excellence under Global Finance Services focussing on SCB wide Balance Sheet Information Management, Reporting and Analytics. This includes Liquidity, Funds Transfer Pricing, and Interest Rate Risk in Banking Book (IRRBB) reporting, decision support and other analytics. The Treasury Function at SCB Treasury works closely with senior management, the businesses, Country CEOs / CFOs, and Finance to manage and promote the bank\'s liquidity, capital, and balance sheet position. Treasury is laser-focussed on its vision to be \'Open, progressive and trusted, working commercially with our partners\' to create sustainable value by balancing the supply and demand of liquidity and capital. Within Treasury (which comprises Capital, Liquidity and Markets), the Treasury Liquidity function is responsible to driving the strategic liquidity agenda, including Funds Transfer Pricing (\'FTP\') and Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Booking (\'IRRBB\'). The Liquidity, FTP and IRRBB team works with key stakeholders at the country level to ensure policy application, and with a broader universe of stakeholders to ensure the application of policy is appropriate to drive the strategic outcomes for the balance sheet. The foundation for this is the identification, risk capture and measurement of interest rate characteristics of client facing exposures. A key function of the FTP approach is to neutralise, to the extent feasible, the interest rate risk in the business, primarily by transferring this risk to Treasury. This is done by using an internal pricing mechanism between the Treasury and the business that matches the underlying interest rate used between the business and their clients for the given asset, liability, or portfolio. The role of Associate, FTP Liquidity, is to play the role of a SME within the team to perform the daily FTP Processes and support the roll out strategic platform for FTP computation. The role will work directly with several teams primarily FTP Policy, Change, Finance, and Technology while partnering closely with the Business, End users of rates (pricing) and other parts of Treasury. Key responsibilities include Partnering with the Treasury Liquidity (FTP) team and Country Finance To manage the pricing across regions / products as per FTP Standards Ad-hoc analyses based on business requirement Support the rollout of strategic platform for FTP computation, and involve in performing user testing Act as a change gate keeper and ensure that the changes made to the systems and processes are smoothly embedded into BAU Strategy Support the FTP lead in Managing the FTP deliverables, which is as follows Ensure FTP provides the right incentives to Business to steer Balance Sheet outcome and drive Group RoTE Identify any gaps in the process and build more controls and governance to be resilient process Ensure FTP reflects the appropriate Liquidity valuation in each country Business Support the lead in Managing the daily FTP Processes and meet the organisation wide objectives Take a lead and ownership on the processes with the lens of continuous improvement and sustainability Play a key role in understanding the FTP standards and impacts due to market changes Partner with Country Finance, Regional ALCO / GALCO, Treasury Policy and Project teams to deliver the BAU and on implementation of any methodology change Processes Establish robust control and governance on the process. People and Talent Build, manage, coach, develop and engage a team of high performing individuals. Risk Management Establish adequate documentation around new functionalities, Processes, SLA changes, Target Operating Model and other Operational Checklists. Regulatory and Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\'s Values and Code of Conduct. Key Stakeholders Treasury Liquidity FTP Team Regional Treasurers and their Teams Business Stakeholders Treasury - Markets Teams Country and Business CFOs and Finance Teams Product Control Treasury Liquidity Modelling and Platforms GALCO, RALCOs and Country ALCOs Our Ideal Candidate Masters Degree in Finance (MBA) / Economics / Quantitative fields from a reputed institution. Finance Professionals (Qualified Chartered Accountant) or Certifications like FRM, PRM or CFA will be an added advantage. 3 - 5 years of proven experience and knowledge in Treasury / Liquidity from top-tier banks similar in scale and complexity as that of SCB or consultancy firms 2 years of experience in end-to-end data extraction, ETL, transformation and MI building. Hands on experience with Balance Sheet Management platforms (Moody\'s Analytics, RiskPro, QRM, Oracle, etc) or booking platforms (ACBS, Murex etc.) is a major advantage.
