About the department

Digital, Data & IT - Product Supply GBS is the unit responsible for many global IT systems at Novo Nordisk including the operation, maintenance, support, and development of these systems. The systems are used on a global scale across business areas and are critical to the execution of key business processes such as manufacturing and supply chain etc.

The position

As an Associate manager, you shall be the Head of a department which is responsible for delivering IT services to different production areas. These IT systems play a critical role in ensuring seamless operations in global production and supply chain sites. You will be responsible for all deliverables and contributions for the operation and maintenance of systems anchored in Site Systems and will be reporting to the Head of Manufacturing IT GBS. Furthermore, you will be responsible for:

  • People Management: Overall daily management of people in the department and department management along with Budget. Identify and attract qualified candidates. Onboard new employees to the organisation and ensure long term competency mix & succession planning in the organisation.
  • Inspire, motivate and Coaching team: Coach and mentor employees on how to build and apply competences. Evaluate performance of direct reports and provide feedback. You will own FTE related budget e.g., salary and training.
  • Vendor management: Collaboration with LOB and Vendors with good communication. Support system managers to manage system budget.
  • Systems Transition: Transition of Critical IT Systems from Business Areas and Projects.
  • Compliance: Ensure IT systems work in compliance following industry and organisation regulations & audit and inspection ready. You will be responsible for managing major incidents, compliance, audit, and inspection readiness for the portfolio of systems in the department.
Qualification
  • Computer Science master\'s or bachelor\'s degree or comparable degree in IT or relevant field (Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration).
  • 10+ years of knowledge within IT technology, delivery, and project management with relevant 3+years of people management in quality and compliance area.
  • High cultural sensitivity and comfortable working with different countries and cultures across multiple time-zones.
  • Demonstrate an exceptional ability to work with stakeholders at the highest organisational level.
  • Personal drive, Personal impact, and integrity.
  • Self-managed and strong personal leadership with ability to analyse and solve complex issues in a timely and structured manner. Must be able to work in different geographical time zone.
  • Proven ability to manage and adapt to changes.
  • Excellent in communication skills written and spoken English.
