The Role Responsibilities Job Role We are looking for a candidate who has experience in Business analysis with good logical reasoning, especially handling Data Management areas like Data Gathering, preparing Data Mapping and Lineage documentations, and other data model related aspects with basic technical knowledge and experience in SQL, Python. Key Responsibilities Data Quality analysis, to check and measure that level of quality stored in any data set. Reconciliation of datasets. When connecting different data sources, data profiling is key to assessing your data quality for completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and consistency. It helps you answer the \'What your data looks like\' question. Profiling saves time and helps you to spot inaccuracies quickly. Data mapping is the process of matching fields from one database / dataset to another. It\'s the first step to facilitate data migration, data integration, and other data management tasks. Data mapping is an essential part of ensuring that in the process of moving data from a source to a destination, data accuracy is maintained. Data transformation is the process of converting data from a source format to a destination format. This can include cleansing data by changing data types, deleting nulls or duplicates, aggregating data, enriching the data, or other transformations. Data lineage is a map of the data journey, which includes its origin, each stop along the way, and an explanation on how and why the data has moved over time. The data lineage can be documented visually from source to eventual destination. Data Gathering is the process of collecting and measuring information from various sources, in an established systematic fashion that enables or concludes the path to end use and evaluate outcomes. Work closely with in country business partners in attaining the requirements / sharing the system / product knowledge. Articulating requirements to technology. Managing validation and reconciliation. Strategy Awareness and understanding of the Group\'s business strategy and model appropriate to Tax CoE. Business Expert Awareness and understanding of the Tax business in which the Group Tax team operates and Project Manager. Processes Work closely with in country business partners in attaining the requirements / sharing the system / product knowledge. Risk Management Identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the Project. Ability to interpret the Bank\'s reporting requirements, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures. Governance Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group\'s arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight. Regulatory and Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\'s Values and Code of Conduct. Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Key Stakeholders Country Tax Teams Tax BAU teams Group Tax Team Aspire Project Team Any other teams directly or indirectly affected by the project Our Ideal Candidate Postgraduate / Professional degree. 8 years of relevant finance experience in Project / Business Analyst role. SQL / Python, basic technical knowledge on SQL / Python is required. Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
