About the Role

• Should be an effective communicator with good presentation skills
• You will have a keen interest in learning; including learning more about learning technology and automation
• You are motivated to solve problems for people and do so with tolerance, patience, and empathy.
• You like working as part of a team and can collaborate effectively.
• You have good communication skills and can communicate technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.

Role responsibilities:

• Create legal technology solutions from design through to build, testing, and deployment
• Work with internal customers to gather, refine and document business requirements
• Participate in workshops with internal customers, capturing business requirements and designing functional solutions to legal business problems
• Design contract automation solutions in the form of business process flows, variables tables, automation mark-ups etc
• Ensure that the agreed deliverables and functional requirements are delivered to the client
• Produce and sign off on testing plans - QAT and UAT - and delivering demos to internal customers and supporting with UAT
• Prepare project estimates
• Have the ability to work to challenging deadlines
• Prepare technical documentation
• Review work for sound technical judgment and overall adequacy
• Train staff on Contract Express as required

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

Total 6-7 years of experience in the areas of software engineering and/or legal technology

University degree

Essential

• Knowledge of Contract Express or other document automation programs, and/or demonstrable experience of using tools and systems to support business processes
• Docusign CLM specialist
• Experience using project management tools like Trello

Desirable

• Software engineering experience or skills (especially Contract Express) would be advantageous, but not essential.
• Engineer with experience in .net technology and VBA would be preferred
• Experience with legal technology would be preferred
