Job Overview: The Instrumentation Designer provides solutions to problems in the Instrumentation Design discipline without supervisory approval and will evaluate and select solutions from established operating procedures and/or scientific procedures.



Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Sound knowledge of Instrument & Control Systems design activities & deliverables including hookups, 3D modelling, layouts and plan drawings, wiring & loop drawings, telecom design, MTOs etc.
• Good command of English (both verbal and in writing).
• Experience with the use of Instrument Database applications (SPI and / or Aveva)
• Experience with use of 2D CAD applications e.g AutoCAD, Microstation, SmartSketch
• Experience with use of 3D modelling in S3D (additional PDMS/E3D experience preferred)

• Education Dip\xe2\x80\x93 Instrumentation or equivalent;
• Required Skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Good command of English (both verbal and in writing)
• Hands-on experience in EPC project execution in the Oil & Gas contracting industry
• Experience 14- 22 years
• Good Communication skills, team player \xc2\xb7
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint & word \xc2\xb7
• Able to deal with resistance, Meet deadlines and is able to handle changing needs and requirements.
• Demonstrate understanding of procedures. Actively develop more FEED and EPC knowledge
