PwC is driving major change across information and cyber security by building a centralised model to provide security
services across the entire member firm network. The Network Information Security (NIS) organisation is tasked with
designing, implementing, and maintaining information security capabilities and services for the PwC Network of
member firms.
As a member of the Firewall Hygiene Team, proactively analyse security gaps to reduce the
impact and compromises in PwC infrastructure.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team player/individual
contributor. Thorough understanding and work exposure in Networking up to L2 Level. Knowledge
and understanding of Firewalls (both physical and virtual) and it\xe2\x80\x99s functioning up to L2 level. Work
exposure in any vendor firewalls would be given preference. Thorough knowledge of VLAN, VLSM,
Routes and basic level understanding of different routing protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc.
Skill and Experience:Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team player/individual contributor. Thorough
understanding and work exposure in Networking up to L2 Level. Knowledge and understanding of Firewalls (both

\xe2\x97\x8f Thorough understanding of Stateful firewalls and its numerous functions like ACL\xe2\x80\x99s, Types of Firewalls,
Spoofing, Digital Signatures Etc.
\xe2\x97\x8f Understanding of Zone based firewalls like Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto (Palo Alto preferred).
\xe2\x97\x8f Thorough understanding of Application Layer filtering (Exposure with application layer Firewalls would be
preferred).
\xe2\x97\x8f Thorough understanding of Encryption, NAT, PAT and its usages in an enterprise environment.
\xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge and exposure of configuring an IPSec Tunnel and its associated parameters.Information/Cyber Security preferred skills set:
\xe2\x97\x8f Basic understanding and knowledge of Information/Cyber Security and its best practices.
\xe2\x97\x8f Thorough knowledge of Service ports (FW ports) and associated vulnerabilities from a Cyber security POV.
\xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge and understanding of RISK.
\xe2\x97\x8f Thorough understanding of MAC and OS vulnerabilities. Knowledge of IDS and IPS will be added advantage.
\xe2\x97\x8f Basic understanding of Endpoint Security, Pen-testing, Scans, and ways of vulnerability mitigations.
Note: Knowledge and work experience with Palo Alto Firewalls would be preferred. Certification on the same would
be an added advantage.Education Level: Bachelor or equivalents.Desired Certifications:
CCNA (R&S), CCNA Security, CCSK, CompTIA Security+, Any other FW Vendor Certifications etc.CV searching criteria:
