Overall Background (for all JDs below):
PwC has a dedicated practice (DDV \xe2\x80\x93 Delivering Deal Value) which primarily focusses on the
following 3 areas:
Post -Merger Integration:
\xef\x82\xb7 Integration Strategy - Operating Model blueprinting, Integration planning - Day 1 plan,
Day 100 plan, long-term plan.
\xef\x82\xb7 Integration Project Management \xe2\x80\x93 End-to end support on integration initiative,
managing risks, dependencies & issues across all functional areas, synergy tracking, co-
ordination with function owners
Carve-out Management:
\xef\x82\xb7 Divestiture management office, identification of separation considerations and stand-
alone costs, assessment of management\xe2\x80\x99s plans to become stand-alone, Transitional
Service Agreements.
Pre-deal Operational Assessment & Synergy Planning: Pre-deal operational
assessments and Synergy assessment
Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Deals (DDV)
Key responsibilities:
\xef\x82\xb7 Responsible for leading and independently managing Post Merger Integration/ Carve-
out/ Operational assessment projects.
\xef\x82\xb7 Interact with leadership/ CXOs at clients during project delivery.
\xef\x82\xb7 Manage multiple stakeholders in client teams at all levels as well as within PwC.
\xef\x82\xb7 Actively drive business development and practice management initiatives.
\xef\x82\xb7 Lead and manage PwC Teams
\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to work seamlessly with global teams (at client end as well as PwC)
Educational Qualification & Skills: MBA from a reputed institution or CA with 6 to 8 years of
post-qualification experience.
Must have experience in PMI/ Carve-out/ operational assessment work. In addition, following
experiences are desirable:
\xef\x82\xb7 Synergy assessment and tracking
\xef\x82\xb7 Program/ Project Management in large scale cross-functional projects
\xef\x82\xb7 Management consulting experience preferably in any functional consulting area like HR,
Finance, MIS and Reporting, etc.
\xef\x82\xb7 Leading large scale cross-functional transformation programs.
Must Haves \xe2\x80\x93
\xef\x82\xb7 Good communication and presentation skills
\xef\x82\xb7 Fluency in Excel and PowerPoint
\xef\x82\xb7 Team player with ability to work across large teams (internal and external).
Assistant Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Deals (DDV)Key responsibilities:
\xef\x82\xb7 Responsible for contributing to Post Merger Integration/ Carve-out/ Operational
assessment projects.
\xef\x82\xb7 As part of the project, may need to interact at multiple levels in client teams.
\xef\x82\xb7 Support in business development and practice management initiatives.
Educational Qualification & Skills: MBA from a reputed institution or CA with 3 to 5 years of
post-qualification experience.
Desirable experience in at least one of the following:
\xef\x82\xb7 PMI/ Carve-out/ operational assessment experience
\xef\x82\xb7 Strategy and Synergy assessment and tracking
\xef\x82\xb7 Program/ Project Management in large scale cross-functional projects
\xef\x82\xb7 Management consulting experience preferably in any functional consulting area like HR,
Finance, MIS and Reporting, etc.
