About the role

Location: Hyderabad

This role will be accountable for the design, build and deployment of solutions in ECC and S4/HANA systems and will be part of our \xe2\x80\x9cDD&IT APD ERP Platforms\xe2\x80\x9d team in Data, Digital & IT Organization in Novartis

Your responsibilities include but not are limited to:

• Own and drive Solution Design in the area of Finance and Controlling through addressing all business requirements and opportunities while following Novartis architectural standards, quality, and information security principles
• Collaborate closely with the Global Process Owners (GPOs) and Enterprise Process Leads (EPLs) to suggest standardized and simplified integrated solutions
• Champion the standardization and simplification of design, minimizing the custom solutions only for cases where Novartis makes a difference in the market serving customers/patients
• Deliver design solutions in line with system design standards (Core/Template). Ensure that solutions meet requirements outlined in the architecture handbook. Perform scoping, fit-gap workshops for projects/enhancements, proposes solutions for key gaps, provide effort estimations and align with business teams
• Ensure that project/enhancements work is delivered to agreed time, cost and quality constraints following the release calendars
• Ensure that developed solutions are peer reviewed, formally documented and signed off by business
• Initiate solution testing to ensure these meet quality standards. Follow standardized design and development processes to enable cost effective delivery
• Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Solution Design scope

Role Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in business/technical domains. SAP certifications / trainings in specified module(s)/process areas

8 years of relevant professional IT experience in the related functional area. Proven experience in SAP ERP ECC and S/4HANA and eco-system applications in the following areas for the Pharma and/or Food & Beverage industry
- Finance processes in R2R, O2C, R2P, Treasury
- Finance and Controlling modules in S4/ECC (GL, AP, AR, Treasury, Tax, Fixed Assets, CO-PA, CO-PCA, ML, Project Systems, T&E)

• Very good knowledge of integration topics with Other SAP modules.
• Excellent knowledge of business processes in the area of Finance and ability to \xe2\x80\x9cspeak the business language\xe2\x80\x9d when talking about IT subjects, to be able to discuss and guide our business partners.Experience in project delivery in an international environment
• Experience in advising peers and senior stakeholders on complex issues and provide complex, contextual guidance to influence actions of internal and/or external partners
• Experience in managing internal and external experts in different locations and time zones. Excellent communication skills . Able to leverage networks of professionals across functions and business areas
• Understand the competing organizational needs beyond own part of business. Able to interpret complex information and to negotiate and persuade internal and external peers
