Job Description


:

Prime Function:

\xc3\xbc Coordinate Sales operations with the other departments of the organization.

\xc3\xbc Develop and/or maintain and improve business relations with all customers of the organization.

\xc3\xbc Ensure maintenance of customer database.

\xc3\xbc Responsible for targeting new customers and new sales opportunities, initiate action plan to approach and secure new business for the organization.

\xc3\xbc Any matter which may effect the interests of ACCOR should be brought to the attention of the Management.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Marketing Planning

\xc3\xbc Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing in the development of the Strategic Marketing Plan for the organization.

\xc3\xbc Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing to direct the Sales & Marketing department to achieve objectives established in the Organization\xe2\x80\x99s Strategic Plan.

People Management

\xc3\xbc Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation with all departments of Novotel Hyderabad & Hyderabad International Convention Centre to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, and guest service.

\xc3\xbc Respond to queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.

\xc3\xbc Ensure that the team has been trained for all safety provisions.

\xc3\xbc Ensure that all personnel are kept well informed of department\xe2\x80\x99s objectives and policies.

\xc3\xbc Motivate and develop team to ensure smooth functioning of the department and promote teamwork.

Financial Management

\xc3\xbc Identify optimal, cost effective use of the resources and educate the team on the same.

Operational Management

\xc3\xbc Coordinate all activities to maintain and increase business volume. This includes advertising, sales promotions, personal selling, publicity, community relations, special sales projects, employee training and guest relations.

\xc3\xbc To identify new business by generating new leads.

\xc3\xbc Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing to prepare Annual Sales goals, develop working plans to carry out goals, compare actual achievements against goals and hence take necessary corrective action.

\xc3\xbc To meet or exceed agreed sales targets.

\xc3\xbc Review internal promotion material on a regular basis to insure that they are consistent with standards set by the Management.

\xc3\xbc Work closely with the Public Relations Manager to improve relations between the Organization and the society at large to obtain maximum media coverage of activities within the premises which are of interest locally and internationally.

\xc3\xbc To maintain a productive and professional relationship with all clients.

\xc3\xbc Submit monthly and weekly sales plan and market analysis (monthly) as well as daily sales/activity reports.

\xc3\xbc Maintain close contacts within the neighboring hospitality sectors, with airlines, travel agencies, commercial houses, private clubs, professional associates, etc, to capture business.

\xc3\xbc Develop and promote organization\xe2\x80\x99s image and awareness by direct mail campaigns.

\xc3\xbc Handle additional responsibilities as and when delegated by the Management.

\xc3\xbc Leadership skills that utilize persuasion and motivation to attain organizational goals is the most desirable management quality, followed by honesty, integrity, ethical behaviour, tactfulness, openness, and cultural awareness;

\xc3\xbc Ability to accept responsibility;
