: Key Responsibility: Planning and Strategy * Responsible for marketing strategy & annual budget and activity planning for Mashal marketing function. The annual calendar would consist of Pro Kabaddi league & associated events and might include

: Key Responsibility: Planning and Strategy Responsible for marketing strategy & annual budget and activity planning for Mashal marketing function. The annual calendar would consist of Pro Kabaddi league & associated events and might include other national and international kabaddi events Run budget control for the marketing function Own the en tire gamut of business-relationship with the external agencies, marketing managers of PKL Franchises, as well as PKL-engaged marketing colleagues within the Media Rights Partner(s) Conduct market research for PKL and kabaddi to draw insights and implement them in strategy Branding: Be the brand custodian for PKL Identify and implement opportunities to improve PKL and Mashal Brand salience not limited to the Season Work closely with Media Rights Partner(s) to further the Brand agenda for Mashal and PKL Fan engagement: Identify fan engagement objectives for each Season and create an execution plan to support the objectives Become the custodian of consumer insight and Fan analytics for Mashal. Conduct market research and implement the learnings from consumer insights study to drive relevance and higher engagement for PKL. Also provide insights to other teams - based on insights from Fans Run marketing operations for Mashal with support from the agency Conceptualize and implement campaigns with support from the agency Conceptualize and implement off season marketing plan Drive PKL website, app and social media handle usage and engagement Identify and implement new initiatives for fan engagement and technology enhancement for marketing area Implement and enhance marketing automation solutions for personalized fan engagement Work closely with stakeholders as required to conceptualize and implement holistic, high impact campaigns. The stakeholders include Media Partners, influencers, Franchisees, Players, Federation Develop and implement strategy to enhance Fandom at Team level / Team affiliations Public Relations Work with the agency to effectively leverage PR for Hero building Enhance image of Mashal Enhance the commercial value of the League Any crisis management Continuous relationship building with target media and journalists Performance Measures: Measurables as set out in the business objectives for Mashal Sports and for individual projects. Qualifications: Basic understanding of sports landscape,, marketing (and digital) activations and broadcast metrics Experience in 360 marketing (ATL and BTL) and 360 media buying Experience in creating and evaluating creative briefs and assets for campaigns Experience in managing marketing budgets up to at least 10Crores per year Prior work experience with sports events to be preferred. Personal Attributes: Ability to work with multiple stakeholders. Understand the strategic requirements of other departments / functions. Ability to adapt to dynamically changing circumstances. Ability to handle high pressure situations. Ability to lead and mentor team member(s).
