Associate Director financial planning and Analysis

Attributes required for position

  • Indian Chartered Accountant / MBA from a reputed institute
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in FP&A - US MNC (preferably Pharma)
  • Experience in Accounting, Tax, internal controls & FP&A
  • Experience in business modeling, business development deals, strategy plans, forecasting
  • Experience in Pharma pricing
  • Proactive and open to change
  • Strategic thinking, Collaborative and team player
  • Goal-orientated and committed to work
  • Customer-oriented
  • Organized with good analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong influencing skills

Key Responsibilities:

The activities will include but are not limited to:
  • Work with Business Unit heads to build their annual budgets and forecasts
  • Help in developing Pricing Strategy for products, Cost Optimization drives like PGM improvements scopes and Robust Business Performance Management initiatives.
  • Producing models to project long term growth and determine the impacting business factors
  • Pharma business understanding, Industry network and understanding. Delivery of competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Leadership team.
  • Analyzing financial and operational results to better understand company performance
  • Utilizing BI tools to delivery meaningful insights into business performance
  • Communicate to senior management the reasons behind the product/department performance and result
  • Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost center results
  • Reviewing operations and recommending new productivity or cost saving initiative
  • Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
  • Reviewing existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts
  • Evaluating previous budgets, expenditures to develop and implement future budgets
  • Communicating results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations
  • Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts and profitability
  • Managing stakeholders in Business development/Supply Chain/Legal/Commercial OPPS and MD's office.
