Job Description


Job Purpose :

Handling of Statutory & Secretarial compliances, Managing Direct & Indirect Taxes, Government GST Audits and IT Assessments, Treasury & Banking operations, Visiting Faculty and Resident Faculty Payments and related accounting, Trust Accounts , FCRA and Overseeing Associate Companies -Compliance and Accounts etc.,

Roles and Responsibilities:

Associate Director - Finance reports to CFO and performs a set of responsibilities such as overseeing the complete statutory & Secretarial compliance of the school including Direct and Indirect Taxes and also responsible for Banking and Treasury operations of the school, monitoring and managing the funds, investing the surplus and other endowment funds as per investment policy, dealing with the Bankers for updating of banking system whenever it is required.

- Monthly review of all statutory payments and returns before filing and remittances.

- Compiling, reviewing and filing of Income Tax Returns of the School, Associate Companies and other Trusts.

- Also coordinating with Statutory Auditors for review and approval of Audit Report under Income Tax Act, coordinating with Board Member\'s office for affixing Signatures on minutes, tax returns etc.

- Responding to the Queries and Other Notices from Income Tax Department while assessments or for any other Notices.

- Responding to the Notices of GST Department, also coordinate with GST Department Audits for smooth and seamless GST Audits.

- Should also coordinate with MHA- FCRA Audits and also for filing of Annual Returns.

- Advising Staff/Faculty or Visiting Faculties for taxation related queries.

- Providing necessary inputs for the Agreements/ MoU\'s entered by company either for

- Grants/Research with regards to Taxation and statutory compliance.

- Overseeing all Payments and approving after reviewing the same.

- Reviewing all visiting faculty payments (domestic and foreign).

- Coordinating with Corporate Credit Card Bank

- Coordinate with Board Members Office for conducting the AGM, preparation and signing of minutes etc.

- Coordinating with Statutory Auditors/Internal Auditors during the audit times and providing necessary information and clarifications for smooth completion of the audits.

- Filing of all necessary Returns and Annual Returns with Registrar of Companies.

- Review of all forex remittances with regards to all statutory compliances for foreign remittances.

Desired Profile:

Qualification: CA

Experience: Minimum 12+ years

Sound knowledge of Direct & Indirect taxes in India.

- Interpersonal & Communication Skill,

- Sound accounting knowledge,

- Attention to Details, Time Management,

- SAP, MS-Office

- Knowledge and should always be updated with changes and amendments with regards to applicable Laws and Provisions.
