300+ Clinical trials ongoing, 100000+ Number of patients in our studies. Novartis is looking for dedicated individuals to join our Clinical Analytics Solution Delivery team and contribute to supporting Analytics Team in designing innovative trials and apply pioneering methodologies and visual analytics to improve and accelerate decision making.

As a key player in our program, this role will be accountable managing lifecycle and customization of Products as part of statistical workbench of Platform and accountable for design and customize and build technological areas and will be part of our \xe2\x80\x9cProduct & Platform Delivery \xe2\x80\x93 Core\xe2\x80\x9d team in Technology Transformation Organization in Novartis.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Own and drive Solution Design for Statistical Work Bench through addressing all business requirements and opportunities while following Novartis architectural standards, quality and information security principles
• Prepare and run design workshops in the assigned \xe2\x80\x9cProducts\xe2\x80\x9d, identify critical integration points and dependencies, propose solutions for key gaps, provide effort estimations while ensuring alignment with business and other teams
• Assure consistency and traceability between user requirements, functional specifications, Agile ways of working and adapting to DevSecOps, architectural roadmaps, regulatory/control requirements, and smooth transition of solutions to operations
• Define and implement technology delivery strategy catering to defined business areas with an aim of bringing powerful innovation, process standardization and systems with high focus on user experience and scalability.
• Champion the standardization and simplification of design, minimizing the custom solutions only for cases where Novartis makes a difference in the market serving customers/patients

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business/technical domains, >8 years of relevant professional IT experience in the related functional area. Experience with R programming to build ShinyApps.
• Experience in installation, upgrade and patching of RStudio Workbench, Connect and Package Manager.
• Building Package Manager as container, Rebuilding application with Packrat and/or Renv, Python system programming experience, Experience Easybuild modules and Ansible
• Strategic problem solver with consistent track record in translating business needs into clearly defined technology product implementation roadmaps. Demonstrated success in defining and executing high-impact technology and innovation road maps
• Proven track record in performing key role of large x-functional initiatives with focus on business benefit realization and fast business adoption. Ability to influence without authority and successfully manage senior level customers
• Excellent oral/written communication skills - allowing effective interactions with all levels of the organization; able to present information confidently and effectively to leadership, peers and team
• Prior exposure to or demonstrated use of design thinking methodologies is desirable
