Role Overview Clinical programming & Insights team supports the Data Management and other key stakeholders like clinical, Central monitoring in building data collection, validation and reporting tools. Associate Director Clinical Programmer is accountable for quality, timely and efficient delivery of project level programming activities. This includes developing tools to perform data cleaning for ongoing clinical projects, as well as a host of other activities related to developing visualization dashboards to provide study, project and portfolio level oversight. In addition, the role can also be involved in developing applications to enable automation and support implementation of data science projects. This position requires profound programming experience and excellent industry knowledge to independently lead implementation of projects. It is a leadership role that can have a project or technical focus and lead cross-functional initiatives with medium complexity. May act as a team leader to manage and develop programmers within the group. Provide leadership and guidance in development of collection, reporting and analytical solutions for clinical trials Design, develop, implement and validate data visualization dashboards that provides program/therapeutic area/portfolio level oversight and enable proactive study/portfolio management Experience in data warehousing, development of data cleaning checks/ reports/listings, operational reports, Dashboards using Medidata Rave, SAAMA, Veeva EDC, SAS/Python/R , Power BI /Spotfire. Typical Accountabilities

• Provide leadership and guidance in development of reporting and analytical solutions for clinical trials
• Contribute to strategy, design and implementation of projects that\xe2\x80\x99s part of clinical programming roadmap
• Finds opportunities to improve methodology and automate manual activities
• Create solutions that enables automation and support implementation of data science projects in collaboration with partners in other functions
• Design, develop, implement and validate data visualization dashboards that provides program/therapeutic area/portfolio level oversight and enable proactive study/portfolio management
• Leads complex projects and directs full scope of project delivery related to clinical programming and/or leads a technical project within the Project/TA/function
• Responsible for high quality of all project work, holding partners and providers accountable for

quality of their deliverable and/or technical domain expert for aspect(s) of Project, TA or function

• Lead standardization efforts to improve efficiencies and increase productivity
• Establish infrastructure and programming environment for development of reports and analytical solutions
• Define and build vital processes and tools to perform clinical programming activities for both global and study level analytical solutions
• Leads or contributes to cross-functional process improvement or technical initiative(s)
• Drives development of best practices to improve quality, efficiency and/or effectiveness within the function
• Manages and escalate risk in complicated or novel situations within their study and/or projects
• Influences stakeholders by providing domain expertise on programming related items
• May lead, manage and develop a group of programmers and define, monitor and assess objectives for team
• Provides input to capacity management for all projects in scope
• Captures business needs, recruits and builds the team with appropriate skillset
• Supports talent development and provides training and mentoring of resources within the programming team
• Maintains own and team knowledge of latest industry and regulatory requirements to stay current.
