• Implement small and large scale implementations of projects with E2E delivery using IBM Datastage
• Drive technical discussions and design solutions around it
• Technically coach the team members and provide real time solutions to complex problems
• Perform Coding and unit testing independently and assist/mentor team members whenever required
• Adherence to coding standards
• Collaborate and Communicate effectively with other engineers/ QE and onshore team
• Partner with business and enterprise architecture team to understand requirements and design/develop end to end solution
• Develop high performance reusable code
• Practice agile solution delivery & influence teams towards engineering best practices such as DevOps / CICD / Everything as a code
• Follow engineering best practices and coding principles for successful delivery of program/project
• Partner closely with global teams to implement the design
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• BE/BTech./MCA
• 7+ years of experience
• Strong ETL and data warehousing experience
• Hands-on experience in IBM DataStage 11.5 or above
• Hands-on experience in SQL, UNIX commands
• Hands-on experience in DevOps tools and Production Support
• Hands-on experience with Tools: DataStage, Programming Language: Perl/Shell scripting; Database: Sybase IQ, Sybase ASE, Oracle
• Hands-on experience with: Monitoring ETL Jobs. He/she should be be able to troubleshoot the problem by analyzing Datastage ETL Jobs
• Knowledge of Programming languages: Perl/Python, Shell scripting
• Knowledge of DevOps processes, Agile is preferred
• Knowledge of cloud technologies like Snowflake, MS Azure is an added advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Assertive leadership qualities
• Ownership and accountability for the assigned tasks
• Excellent team player and collaborator
• Proactive in identifying and escalating potential risks and impediments and coming up with alternative solutions

Preferred Qualification:

• Scheduling tools: Apache Airflow knowledge
