Associate Art Director (3-5 years)

Full Time \xe2\x80\xa2 Design

What\xe2\x80\x99s it about:

We are looking for Associate Art Directors who live, breathe, eat and drink design, typography and colors; and are more likely to get into discussions about font curves than bodily ones, if you know what we mean. As a Designer, you will be responsible for providing stunning visuals for all our brilliant ideas on digital and print media, and be at the core of client content development and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinating with clients or account managers to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job.
• Roughly 4-5 years of relevant work experience
• Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research
• Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
• Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs part of Adobe Suite
• Working with a wide range of media
• Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
• Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
• Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
• Leading and mentoring a team of junior designers. A previous experience as a lead earns you brownie points.
• Developing concepts, graphics, and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites.

What you must have:

• Strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
• Other specialty design, art or production skills are a plus \xe2\x80\x93 3D, Illustration, Video, Photography, Photo Compositing/Retouching
• Portfolio showcasing evidence of strong conception, art direction, presentation, and other design work
• Should be highly motivated, team-player and well-organized
• Should be able to execute ideas from start through to completion
• Should be mentoring and coaching team members through project development and performance management
• Experience in both digital and traditional media (Advertising, Branding and UI Design)
