Job Description


JOB DESCRIPTION Role - To contribute on various type of strategy projects including market research, data analysis, portfolio analysis and prioritization, consulting etc. Focus on data collection, analysis, information synthesis, storyboarding and development of final reports in the form of PowerPoint decks by adhering to established quality standards under minimal supervision Description of Activities . Understand oncology disease area, cancer pathology, cancer classification, cancer diagnosis and treatment strategy, tumor staging, histology, treatment setting and treatment intervention, biomarker and risk marker assessment, disease progression, cancer pathways and therapies etc. . Conduct secondary desk research on disease overview, epidemiology, patient segmentation, treatment paradigm, unmet need, clinical trials / pipeline, market trends, competitive intelligence, etc., and analyze the information / data to address key business questions . Understand IQVIA datasets like MIDAS and other related data for understanding historical and current market trend as well as estimating future expected growth, patient / market sizing etc. . Conduct collection of published clinical data using platforms like ASCO, ESMO and other publicly available sources for assessment of clinical bar to entry, key emerging regimen with potential to replace standard of care, creating target product profiles etc. . Develop PowerPoint presentation / outputs in Excel with underlying analysis, key insights, storyboarding and provide viewpoints . Communicate with the client / stakeholder to assess objective and requirement, brainstorm and help build robust approach / methodology to collect and analyze data, synthe information, storyboard and present the observations and findings to the client one-on-one to help them with strategic decision making . Collaborate with onshore stakeholders to become part of the project team and work seamlessly to achieve the project objectives on time with high quality outputs . Contribute to project level meeting / brainstorming sessions to develop approach / insights / recommendations to the client . Ready to work in a challenging environment to meet client expectations in terms of timelines and quality with minimal supervision . Ready to learn on projects, good interpersonal skills and attention to detail, think creatively to provide solutions to real time challenges during project execution . Flexible to work with multiple clients / stakeholders within NYC on an ad-hoc project engagement Qualifications - Bachelors or Master in Life Science (including Pharma) or MBA Experience - Overall 1-4 years for Associate Consultant Preference - Candidates with B1/B2 US Visa Skillsets - Quant and qual secondary / IQVIA / PMR data analysis, therapy area understanding, pipeline and clinical data assessment, PowerPoint with basic storyboarding, Basic or Advance Excel, client communication and presentation IQVIA is a leading global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions and clinical research services to the life sciences industry.
