GSD (Global Services Delivery) is a global delivery organization responsible for delivering BMC solutions to our customer worldwide. It provides unique opportunity to meet customers and solve their business problem by consultative approach. This group is responsible for managing latest BMC technologies and making sure customers get the maximum value from their investment.

AMS Consultant - The Application Managed Services Consultant will provide consultative operational services including technical post-implementation/go-live services for enterprise software solutions throughout for BMC's worldwide customers. The Consultant must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment since they will be working on incidents, problems, releases, patching, upgrades, integrations simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

• Responsible for leading and/or participating in teams comprised of BMC, partner and customer resources at client sites to deliver required outcomes and produce additional business with BMC clients.
• Provide L2/L3 operational support on TSO-TrueSight Orchestration as per agreed SLAs
• Implement, customize, and configure BMC products.
• Maintain TSO-TrueSight Orchestration Application platform availability as per agreed availability commitment
• Integrate BMC products to each other and third-party applications.
• Troubleshoot TSO-TrueSight Orchestration application, customizations, integration issues.
• Follow the ITIL standard best processes.
• Recommend & plan upgrades/patches and roll out of new features
• Understands how to apply technology to improve the operational effectiveness or efficiency of specific functions or applications.
• Assist customer drive adoption of the monitoring solution across the environments
• Work closely with Service Owners to review service delivery quality with focus on continuous improvement

• Well Organized with a positive attitude, ability to work in customer facing env & should be able to communicate with Customers, Vendors, and other internal groups as required.
• Exercises independent judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Willing to work in shifts, weekend and on-call support will be required.

Skills/Experience: TSO-TrueSight Orchestration / BAO

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree.

3-7 Yrs. of relevant experience in BMC TSO-TrueSight Orchestration or BAO

Extensive experience working on developing TSO/BAO Workflows integrated with Enterprise Incident, Problem & Change management system with ITSM tools like Remedy ARS,.

Worked on Integration with Active Directory, Exchange, Consuming & Publishing Web Services with other Applications.

Experience of deploying Infrastructure setup of BMC atrium orchestrator.

Providing support for existing workflows enhancement requests.
Should have worked as run-book administrator to perform maintenance and support activities.

Experience of creating adapters for Third Party Tools, Applications.

Expert knowledge of XMLXPATHXSLT & expert in scripting language like Shell Script, Perl, VB Script, Java Scripting, Power Shell.

Good knowledge of DB Knowledge like Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL.

Good knowledge of networking, good to have knowledge of IP Pool, DNS configuration & NATing

Good to have knowledge of Other BMC tool sets like TSOM, Remedy ITSM, TSSA, TSNA etc.
