AVP / GM - Property Valuation

Skills required for the position :

- The position reporting to the Executive Director - Chief Of Business & Risk, is responsible for setting up process for proper valuation and assessment of the properties and head the overall technical function and lead the team of technical managers placed across locations.

- The incumbent is expected to possess excellent knowledge related to valuation of the properties, assessing the marketability, guidelines relating to building, Knowledge in Infra for expansion of New branches, construction and real estate.

- He should be well aware of all statutes related to approvals of land, approval for construction of house, apartments and would be guiding the technical team in proper assessment of the risk and value of properties funded. Experience in the housing finance industry and in-depth knowledge of the technical aspects, related risks, keen eye for details, knowledge of the frauds prevalent in the industry and mechanisms to prevent, is highly desirable.

Job description:

- The incumbent would oversee the entire Technical Function and would be responsible for achieving the milestones in terms of various strategic parameters set by the organisation

- Ensure properties funded are safe and secure, technically clear and have requisite approvals and comply with all norms and regulations, have reasonable marketability as desired and free of related risks.

- Put in place a uniform process for technical scrutiny and ensure technical compliance and marketability of all properties funded.

- Ensure constant follow up on construction cases and notify deviations and risks related to non completion of construction in time

- Periodically assess the technical valuation done by the team and ensure proper adherence to policies

- To study & analyze the market strategy in the field of real estate and valuations - as and when required for expansion of new branches / locations of various states of operations

Key tasks for the year :

- To develop Hubs for technical process, decentralization, for Rest of locations to ensure smooth disbursement process and to reduce the TAT.

- To study the market for future expansions in rest of India

- To enable as a catalyst to start up operations for new branches / locations.

- To enable and train the technical appraisers to refer business to the organization through their contacts with engineers / builders.

- Information & Technology - To develop the technical module software with concurrence with the IT department, regarding the developments and implementation of the technical module software.

Qualification: BE Civil Engineer

Experience: 15+ Years of experience in Technical evaluation from NBFC (Housing Finance, Loan against Property) / Banking.

Age: 38 to 45

Compensation: 20 to 22 Lacs
