Assistant Vice President Non Motor Underwriting Property/fire/engineering Insurance
Job Description
Purpose of this Role: Corporate Underwriter is responsible for underwriting a book of business for the fire, engineering & miscellaneous lines of business to achieve the budgeted premium and loss ratio.
Responsibility :
1. Formulate Underwriting guidelines for the company
2. Lead the team of Corporate Underwriters
3. Supervise the day to day underwriting operations
4. Underwriting & Portfolio Management
5. Conduct underwriting audits and other technical quality review programs
6. Minimum 12 years of experience in Underwriting preferably from insurance Companies.
7. Experience in Corporate Office role preferred
