Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities



I. Strategic Financial Planning & Advisory



Develop and implement a

comprehensive financial strategy

aligned with corporate and project growth. Provide

financial insights and recommendations

to the management team for

strategic decision-making

. Lead

financial forecasting, scenario planning, and budget allocations

to support

sales targets, project execution, and expansion initiatives

. Evaluate

capital expenditure requirements, ROI analysis, and funding options

for new projects. Align finance with

business strategy

, ensuring sustainable profitability and liquidity.

II. Financial Operations & Controls



Oversee

end-to-end financial operations

, including payables, receivables, expense management, payroll coordination, and vendor payments. Implement

strong internal controls

to minimize errors, fraud, and regulatory non-compliance. Monitor

project-wise accounting

, ensuring accurate cost tracking and reporting for all ongoing real estate projects. Lead the

automation of accounting processes

using ERP / Tally / SAP to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

III. Budgeting, Forecasting & Fund Management



Lead the

annual, quarterly, and monthly budgeting process

for corporate and project operations. Track

budget variances

and recommend corrective actions to optimize expenditure. Oversee

fund allocation and cash flow planning

, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations and project execution. Conduct

financial scenario analysis

to prepare for contingencies, market fluctuations, and regulatory changes.

IV. Financial Reporting & Analytics



Prepare

timely and accurate financial statements

, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and project-wise financial reports. Develop

management dashboards

highlighting key financial metrics such as revenue, costs, margins, liquidity, and ROI. Conduct

variance analysis, trend analysis, and KPI reporting

to identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement. Provide insights for

stakeholder management, investor reporting, and regulatory compliance

.

V. Risk Management & Compliance



Ensure

full compliance with statutory regulations, taxation laws, real estate regulations (RERA), and accounting standards (IND AS / IFRS)

. Implement

financial risk assessment frameworks

, including credit, liquidity, market, and operational risks. Monitor and report

financial irregularities, audit findings, and regulatory risks

to senior management.

VI. Leadership & Team Development



Lead, mentor, and manage the

finance and accounts teams

across corporate and project offices. Develop

capabilities of team members

through training, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge sharing. Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure

timely and accurate completion of all finance-related tasks

. Promote a culture of

accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement

in the finance function.

VII. Investor, Bank & Stakeholder Management



Act as the primary point of contact for

banks, financial institutions, investors, auditors, and regulatory authorities

. Ensure

transparent and accurate reporting

to all stakeholders, building trust and credibility. Participate in

fundraising, banking negotiations, project financing, and investor presentations

. Maintain

relationships with rating agencies, lenders, and statutory auditors

to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualification & Experience



Essential:



Chartered Accountant

(CA) / CMA / MBA Finance / Postgraduate in Finance & Accounting

12-15 years of progressive finance experience, with

5-7 years in senior leadership roles

Strong expertise in

real estate finance, project accounting, fund management, budgeting, cash flow, and statutory compliance

Demonstrated experience in

strategic financial planning, stakeholder management, and team leadership


Desirable:



ERP / Tally / SAP / MS Dynamics experience Knowledge of

real estate accounting standards (RERA, IND AS / IFRS)

Experience in

capital raising, project financing, and financial modeling

Exposure to

investor relations, risk management, and process automation
