Responsibilities: -Strategic Planning and Execution: Contribute to the seamless operation of the department, aligning with Otherland Hotels Corporate Strategies and upholding brand standards. -Revenue Optimization: Strategically maximize sales, meeting and surpassing predetermined targets by collaborating closely with Rooms, Food and Beverage, and other revenue-generating departments. -Exceptional Customer Service: Deliver consistent and outstanding service, ensuring an excellent customer experience for patrons. -Client Base Expansion: Identify opportunities to expand the hotel\'s clientele base through proactive prospecting, targeted marketing, and fostering key relationships via RFPs with corporate entities. -Financial Planning and Strategy: Assist in formulating departmental budgets and crafting comprehensive sales goals and strategies. Plan and manage Forecasts for the property for quarterly and annual plans. -Business Development: Drive new business acquisition, secure deals, and bolster revenue streams through diverse methods like cold calling, on-site engagements, and active involvement in community networks. -Market Analysis and Lead Generation: Identify potential business leads by monitoring local market trends and analyzing competitor activities. -Relationship Management: Cultivate and strengthen market share by nurturing relationships with major groups, Corporates, and Travel Booking Platforms. Site visits. -Negotiation and Special Rate Implementation: Skillfully negotiate and implement tailored group rates for key accounts to foster long-term partnerships.Cross selling of different value added and premium room categories in the property and across other upcoming chain hotels (including the companies long term living vertical) -Issue Resolution: Address complaints or reviews related to group/corporate sales or marketing initiatives to ensure client satisfaction. -Collaborative Revenue Management: Work closely with the Revenue Manager to ensure negotiated rates align with the hotel s objectives and facilitate equitable distribution of room sales across diverse market segments. -Training: Train other team members on Brand SOP s and distinctiveness. -Marketing Prowess: Create a marketing calendar for the property across all marketing channels (online, OOO, Referrals, Loyalty) with a budget planned in advance. Qualifications (required) Educational Background: Possess a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management. Experience: Minimum of 2 years work experience in a Sales Manager or Assistant Manager role at a branded 4 Star hotel and above in the Bangalore Micromarket. Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, administrative proficiency, and excellent interpersonal skills. Pre Opening experience is a must. Additional Information: Preferred Qualification: Post Graduation with a specialization in Sales is desirable. Necessity of Prior Experience: Prior experience in Hotel Sales is a fundamental requirement for this role.
