The Assistant Restaurant Manager will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high service standards, and leading the team with efficiency and professionalism. The ideal candidate should have a passion for Korean and Japanese cuisine, strong leadership qualities, and the ability to manage both front- and back-of-house coordination seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow.
Supervise, train, and motivate service staff to deliver fine-dining-level hospitality.
Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and brand standards.
Manage reservations, guest relations, and handle feedback or complaints professionally.
Coordinate between kitchen and service teams for timely and accurate order execution.
Monitor inventory, staff schedules, and cost controls.
Support in financial reporting and achieving sales and profitability goals.
Maintain the authentic presentation and atmosphere reflecting Korean and Japanese dining culture.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fine dining or premium Asian restaurants.
Strong knowledge of Korean and Japanese cuisine and dining etiquette.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong sense of hospitality, attention to detail, and guest satisfaction.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Hotel Management degree or relevant hospitality background preferred.
