The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of English. Responsibilities: Delivering lectures, conducting seminars, and guiding students in their research projects Developing and implementing innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning outcomes Preparing and grading assignments, exams, and other assessments Mentoring and advising students on academic and career matters Engaging in research activities, including writing papers, conducting research, and publishing articles in reputed journals Participating in departmental and college-level activities, such as meetings, committees, and events Keeping abreast of the latest developments in the field of English and incorporating them into the teaching and research activities Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in English from a recognized university Excellent academic record with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree Demonstrated expertise in the field of English, with a record of research publications in reputed journals and conferences Experience in teaching English at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and continuous learning Ability to work independently and as part of a team Eligible Fields: Literature Linguistics Cultural Studies Communication Studies and related fields.
