Logistics Procurement Manager Ocean/Air

Purpose of Job:

The objective of this role is to co-ordinate procurement activities covering ocean and air portfolios. To lead projects & tenders, cross-regional supplier agenda including contracting, contract management and commercial escalation resolutions. The role will involve external market monitoring, complex research and interpretation, including ability to make recommendation for business decisions or making decisions in their specific area of work.

Accountability (Deliverable Outputs):

\xc2\xb7Responsible for ocean/air tender initiatives for the monthly cycles and/or annual as required.

\xc2\xb7Responsible for several suppliers relationships

\xc2\xb7Responsible for implementation and execution of Procurement Strategy

\xc2\xb7Deliver Procurement compliance & digital agenda

\xc2\xb7Lead procurement contracting process & contract management for assigned portfolios

\xc2\xb7Create & maintaining a centralized portfolio knowledge database

\xc2\xb7Lead cross regional project/ activity as assigned by manager.

\xc2\xb7Lead cost optimization projects (efficiencies, benchmarking)

\xc2\xb7Lead sustainability initiatives & projects (alternate fuel, energy efficiency operations)

\xc2\xb7Supplier collaboration towards improvement of 3 C\xe2\x80\x99s

\xc2\xb7Supplier Business Allocation (proposal & support procurement manager in big spend negotiatins

\xc2\xb7 Regional portfolio in terms of responsible sourcing and quality, performance management and continuous improvement, resilience, segmentation, contractual model, 3PL\xe2\x80\x99s negotiations and strategy

\xc2\xb7Responsible for a number of suppliers relationships from cluster and manager.
