Assistant Marketing Manager UK & Ireland

About the Role

As Assistant Marketing Manager, you will be an integral part of Wipro\xe2\x80\x99s UK & Ireland (UKI) marketing function that sits within the wider European marketing team. The aim of this function is to increase revenue, and bolster local brand identity, ensuring alignment with the overall strategy and objectives for the UKI business. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of the marketing, brand awareness and demand generation initiatives within the UKI.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing UKI (based in London), you will collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing UKI, stakeholders in the UKI business and the European marketing team. Your role will involve supporting the go-to-market activity for our Global Business Lines (GBLs - Wipro FullStride Cloud, Wipro Enterprise Futuring, Wipro Engineering Edge, and Wipro Consulting) locally alongside, the Head of Marketing UKI and supporting industry-focused initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have experience of a fast-paced, global company, an understanding of B2B marketing, and a proven ability to support and manage complex projects and managing stakeholder expectations. Effective communication skills and the ability to manage matrix relationships are critical.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Your role will support the UKI business in partnership with the Head of Marketing UKI as follows:

  • Planning, executing, monitoring and reporting on marketing campaigns targeting UKI clients. This includes email marketing, social media campaigns, content marketing, online advertising, alliance partner marketing, events and other promotional activity.
  • Using various media and content channels to create compelling narratives that effectively convey Wipro\xe2\x80\x99s message, taking local culture, market scenarios and the competitive landscape into account.
  • Localizing global and European marketing campaigns and activate agreed-upon activities and strategies.
  • Driving joint marketing activities with our partners locally in UKI alongside the European Head of Alliance Partner Marketing.
  • Development, managing and tracking of deal-based marketing and account-based marketing programs to bolster regional growth objectives.
  • Coordinating regional event initiatives with support from the wider team (both locally in UKI and from the European Marketing team).
  • Supporting PR, brand, and awareness activities with the support of with specialist teams for the region.
  • Managing relationships with external entities: sponsors, agencies and suppliers.
  • Tracking, measuring, and analyzing performance of marketing activities, to report results to leadership.
Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications, desired experience:
  • 5-8 years of relevant marketing experience in B2B technology sector.
  • Fluency in English and an understanding of the UK & Irish regions and their cultural & business dynamics.
  • Proven experience in project management and budgeting, with a focus on maximizing ROI.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently, navigate matrix organisations, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, negotiation, creativity, and team-orientation. Detail-oriented and outcome-focused.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing best practices and B2B demand generation.
