Job Description


:

As our new Asst. Manager - Indirect procurement & fitouts you will lead the Indirect Procurement function within our Interior Fit Out Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) company. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement process for various indirect categories, including contract administration, IT asset and software procurement, travel (transport and accommodation), technical consultants, and procurement related to marketing activities.

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect categories, aligning them with business objectives and cost-saving targets.
  • Conduct market research and supplier assessments to identify potential vendors and establish strategic partnerships.
  • Analyze spend data and trends to optimize procurement processes and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
  • Lead the contract management process for indirect procurement, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
  • Collaborate with Legal and other stakeholders to ensure contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Monitor contract performance and vendor compliance, addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Oversee the procurement of IT hardware, software, and related services required for the company\'s operations.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to identify technological needs and evaluate potential solutions from vendors.
  • Ensure that IT procurement aligns with data security and IT governance requirements.
  • Travel Procurement:
  • Manage the procurement of travel services, including transport and accommodation, for employees and project teams.
  • Establish travel policies and guidelines to optimize cost efficiency while ensuring the comfort and safety of personnel.
  • Lead the sourcing and procurement of technical consultants required for specialized projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand specific technical requirements and ensure the selection of qualified consultants.
  • Manage procurement processes for marketing materials, services, and advertising campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to identify creative agencies, printers, and promotional suppliers.
  • Manage procurement processes for travel activities ie transport (air) and hotel accommodation.
  • Collaborate with Admin and HR teams to identify agencies/ suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Experience: You should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in procurement management for above. You should be able to demonstrate a track record of success in managing procurement activities for similar scope and complexity
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in contract administration and negotiation.
  • Proven expertise in IT asset and software procurement, travel procurement, technical consultants sourcing, and marketing procurement.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with the Interior Fit Out industry is advantageous. You should also have experience in managing procurement activities using relevant software applications, such as E procurement tools, SAP etc.
  • Negotiation Skills: You should be able to negotiate effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing. You should have a proven ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers, while also ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Communication Skills: You should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You should be able to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, such as Designers, project managers and engineers, as well as external stakeholders, such as suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Budget Management: You should have experience in managing project budgets and cost estimates, with a strong focus on controlling costs and maximizing value for the company. You should be able to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
  • Attention to Detail: You should possess strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and completeness in procurement documentation, such as purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts.
  • Analytical Skills: You should be able to analyze procurement data and trends, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to optimize procurement activities.
  • Procurement to Pay Process: You should have experience in managing the entire procurement to pay process, from identifying the need for goods or services to paying the vendor. You should be able to explain the steps involved in the process, including vendor selection, negotiation, purchase order creation, and invoice reconciliation.
  • Purchase Order Management: You should have experience in creating and managing purchase orders, and ensure accuracy and completeness in the documentation. You should be able manage process for creating purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and managing changes to orders.
  • Vendor Management: You should have experience in managing relationships with vendors, and ensure that vendors comply with contractual obligations, quality standards, and delivery timelines. You should be able to evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and resolve conflicts.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, strategic sourcing methodologies, and vendor management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
