Job Description

One of our esteemed clients is a FMCG, Logistics, Warehouse management & a E-commerce company incepted in 2016) is looking to hire ASSISTANT MANAGER- INDIRECT TAXATION Team

The company has recruited close to 950+ people in a year due to their massive expansion plans across India.(Current Strength is 2600+ Employees pan India). Annual Revenue of $518USD. Office is based in PUNE- Pimple Saudagar.

Role:

- The position is responsible for all areas relating to GST taxation compliances.

- The position will be responsible for effectively managing all filings of GST. This position addresses tight deadlines including but not limited to return filings, Input tax reconciliations, and Books Keeping so far related to GST compliance.

- The position will have contact with Business owners and Controllers which requires strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal.

Job Responsibilities:

- Strong compliance management for effective filing of monthly GSTR returns for multiple states.

- Monthly reconciliation of tax balances and Input tax credit as per GST portal with the general ledger of the books.

- Setting processes on allied applications/frameworks of the Law emerging E-invoicing and E-way bills etc.

- Timely Follow up with the concerned internal and external stakeholders of the organization including the vendors/customers to resolve the GST input tax related queries.

- Improvisation/digitization of the tax-related processes, developing or implementing best practices with the help of a technical team

. - Assistance and support for liaison with external tax authorities and consultants locally and regionally

- Manage and coordinate GST audits, Annual Returns, Notices, and Assessments

- Experience in handling a team of 5-6 persons.

- Hiring, training, motivating and evaluating team members.

Skill-set:

- Chartered Accountant with more than 2-6 years of experience in Indirect tax (GST) compliances and add preferably from FMCG industry or Big 4 or Mid Large-sized CA Firm who have worked for the FCMG/Retail and logistics clients.

- Must be able to multi-task, managing multiple sites simultaneously

- Problem-solving skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and customer service skills are required.

- Well-versed with Microsoft office, Tally and ERP systems, and SAPs.
