Description & Responsibilities:

- Fast-growth FinTech seeks a savvy, confident PR expert to lead company's public relations and expand our media presence:

- Build PR Messaging & Strategy and Communications Roadmap in alignment with the organization's goals. Take time to understand field/department requirements to map PR goals on a quarterly basis

- Maintain and advance Kinara's position as an industry leader across business & financial print/onlines/broadcast media. Seek out new opportunities.

- Draft announcements/press releases, short articles, put together relevant briefing notes and messaging points with an eye for clarity.

- Tap into creative storytelling to explore regional, national and international opportunities with business, financial, vernacular, lifestyle & industry verticals. Conduct proactive outreach to the media and respond to incoming media queries in a timely manner

- Research and find new outlets for storytelling, devise promotions strategy for news announcements, set up an Awards and Events plan

- Promote success stories of our customers, pursue collaborations with partners, amplify our social impact metrics and company milestones

- Support communications/PR with Partner Relations & Customer Relations with activities such as customer workshops, joint promotional or announcement activities, promoting Kinara in partner and industry reports, joint publishing of surveys or reports, collaborating on webinar/speaking opps, partner spotlights, coordinating on compiling necessary social impact data, PR wins, customer stories, etc. in the formats required by the partners

- Impact Metric Reporting to be organized and sent on a monthly and quarterly basis

- Provide media training and/or guidance to spokespeople or internal teams as needed

- Manage and collaborate with vendors and internal teams/management as needed. Liaise with social media managers to promote PR wins and manage relevant updates on the website on a regular basis. Set up PR Measurement with regular reporting, analyzing media results and communicating internally on a monthly and a quarterly basis

Qualifications & Experience:

- 10+ years of PR/Communications experience, with preferred exposure in the field of Financial Services, Fintech or Banking

- Blend of journalism/PR agency and in-house Comms experience preferred

- Must take a writing and strategy test to showcase style, thought process, problem-solving and technical expertise

- Designation and Salary for this position will be market competitive and commensurate with the candidate's experience
