Assistant Manager Supplier Quality Assurance
Job Description
1. Responsible for ensuring that all products delivered from a supplier are in compliance with manufacturing specifications and company standards.
2. Responsible for ensuring that all products delivered from a supplier are in compliance with manufacturing specifications and company standards.
3. Ensure that a supplier reliably supplies goods or services that satisfy the customer's needs.
4. Assures that customer quality-imposed technical requirements are adhered to by supplier and that a quality system is maintained.
5. Reviewing our manufacturing specifications to identify materials needed for production.
6. Researching, sourcing, and assessing the best vendors to supply the necessary materials.
7. Visiting vendor facilities and observing the manufacturing environment to review and assess their procedures.
8. Performing regular quality control audits to ensure vendors continue to work in compliance with company and follow the QMS standards.
9. Reviewing incoming supplies and products from vendors to check for defects and ensure quality.
10. Maintaining detailed reports on supplier quality, including defect rates and areas that result in flaws.
11. Providing technical advice and guidance to suppliers to reduce defect rates.
12. should have good knowledge on inspection / measurement system,
13. Ensure timely inspection of in warded material with system clearance,
14. Able to prepare Quality assurance plan,
